Hi Everyone, this is Robert. Our business is international shipping service from China to Australia by sea and air.
Today we met a customer who has problem in paying our shipping invoice.
The vessel would arrive on October 30th and today is October 28th, as it is his first time to pay us , he told us today he worried that he paid us with wrong bank details.
Actually, when DAKA build cooperation with him, we asked him to pay a deposit. But this customer said he would pay the whole amount before vessel arrive
After vessel depart from China on October 11th, my team pushed him many times to pay our shipping invoice, he did not do it in advance.
Today he start paying us just two days before vessel’s arrival. When he start payment, he said some bank details are not correct.
We also worried if he made the bank details wrong the money would get stuck. Then the container will need to stay in the Australian port which will cause storage fee. And it is not good for our long term cooperation.
To better solve our customers’ problem, we told them they can try WISE (a third payment platform ) to pay us, or they can pay a test amount of USD100 first and then pay the rest amount after we get the USD100. Finally, our customers choose to pay us via WISE and we should get the money tomorrow.
When we met problems, we always put more attention onto problem solving way instead of argument. We are always kind and take good care of our customers’ shipment and their feelings.
