Hello everyone, this is Robert. Our business is international shipping service from China to Australia by sea and air.
On December 1st 2025, an Australian buyer named Matt contacted me and he want to ship a fishing boat from China to Australia. He was introduced by my another AU customer named Tuan
Matt gave the estimated size and weight of the boat. The size is 7.6m2.45m3.35m and the weight is 2300kgs. We make a suggeston that we ship this boat in a 40FR container and quoted shipping cost in PDF document like below.
We told Matt that as Christmas is coming , ocean freight in December is very high. I suggest Matt to ship a fishing boat from China to Australia in next March/April when shipping from China to Australia price decrease.
On March 7th, we were contacted by Matt to update the shipping from China to Australia price. We told Matt it was about one thousand USD cheaper than December . Matt were very happy and decided to use our shipping price.
After Matt confirmed our shipping price, we do below jobs :
- First ,we double confirm with Matt about the Australian delivery address and his unloading requirement when we deliver the fishing boat to his door
- Second, We told Matt as there is a trailer under the fishing boat, we need to get an import permit from Australian government in advance.
- Third, we coordinate with Matt’s Chinese factory named Celina . We follow up with Celina when they can finish production so that we can book vessel in Advance . We keep Matt updated of the progress of shipping from China to Australia.
On April 4rd, we got from the Chinese factory Celina that the boat is ready to be shipped. We coordinate with Matt and decided that we pick up the boat from the Chinese factory on April 6th for shipping from China to Australia.
